Serenade is a 2008 model, US built, Navigator 5100 Motoryacht with low hours and in excellent condition moored in Long Beach, CA.

Serenade has been lovingly enjoyed and actively used by an experienced yachting couple.  Primarily operated as a weekend getaway traveling with family and friends to Catalina Island with some coastal exploring adventures in between, the sellers have taken the time to look after her with conscientious care.

Navigator Yachts, built in Southern California, have developed an outstanding worldwide reputation for quality craftsmanship for their line of raised pilothouse motor yachts. Navigator Yachts trademark features are their efficient hull design, smooth ride over a wide range of speeds and superb visibility from the pilothouse.

Serenade carries on all of these traditions in style. Her classy upscale interior and cherry wood finish are contemporary and refreshing. She is air conditioned throughout and her interior layout is easy to get around in with a priority made for comfort and convenience. Her current owners have maintained her to the highest standards, and she looks like new, inside and out.

The saloon and galley comprise the entry level.  There are large windows to take in the view and plenty of space for entertaining and dining.  The galley has a thoughtful layout for preparing meals and feels especially large as it shares an open-air connection to the pilothouse.

Operating Serenade from the pilothouse puts you in an active central location.  The pilothouse has a starboard side door to go forward and an interior staircase that takes you to the flybridge and boat deck.

Going forward you descend a flight of stairs to reach the VIP stateroom in the bow and the master stateroom aft (each with an ensuite head and shower).  Her spacious interior feels much larger than other Navigator 5100 yachts thanks to her 2-cabin layout below the deck.

The twin Volvo engines have been on a regular service schedule for reliability. Serenade is quiet, smooth running and can run comfortably in the teens when you want to pick up the pace.

There is plenty of outdoor living space beginning with the swim platform and cockpit on the lower level for swimming and arriving by dinghy.  Aloft on the upper deck is a single level flybridge that connects with the tender storage and up forward includes seating and appliances for entertaining and enjoying the view.

Serenade is well equipped with numerous systems for safety and convenience allowing you to arrive at your destination in comfort and style. From the water maker to the bow and stern thrusters, she is fully loaded with many popular options.  One impressive upgrade is her Yacht Controller remote docking system. This feature makes docking easy from anywhere on the boat. Two other unique features that set Serenade apart are a custom hydraulic folding radar arch on the top deck (for bridge clearance) and a custom extra-tall stainless-steel refrigerator in the galley.

Serenade is an ideal coastal cruising motor yacht that is fun to operate, comfortable to enjoy and capable of taking you for local adventures over to the islands or along the coast.

Description:

Cockpit: You board Serenade via a large, full beam swim deck. The transom has a hot and cold fresh water shower and shore power connections. There is a gate door that connects the swim platform up a step to the cockpit.  The large cockpit is also shaded overhead by the boat deck. It has plenty of space for a round table and folding chairs, a perfect place for a cold beverage on a hot summer day. The sole in the cockpit and swim deck is beautiful simulated wood decking.  You can access the lazarette from a hatch in the sole.  There are outboard steps to provide access for the narrow side decks that border the salon if you wish to go forward from outside.  The cockpit leads into the saloon.

Saloon:  From the cockpit you enter the saloon through a pair of beautiful, stainless steel framed sliding doors. These doors are heavy duty and high-quality purpose-built doors, not converted patio doors that you see on some boats. Once you enter the saloon you get a feel for how spacious this boat is and you get a first glance of the gorgeous cherry wood interior. On the starboard side you have a full-size couch that converts into a queen size bed at night. On the port side you have a comfortable barrel chair and an entertainment console that includes a hidden, retractable flat screen TV. A pair of high-top bar stools in front of the counter allow guests to join the chef in the galley. Moving forward on the starboard side towards the galley you pass a small, built in refrigerator and a wine storage cabinet.

Galley:  As you enter the galley you are greeted by a huge U-shaped counter and a double basin sink. The center piece of the galley is the beautiful, full height stainless steel refrigerator/freezer. The original electric galley stove has been upgraded to a new three burner propane stove/oven. In addition, a microwave/convection oven is built in above the counter. You can enjoy your favorite show on a flat screen TV as you are preparing a meal. There are plenty of storage lockers and drawers throughout. While working in the galley you have same level contact with guests in the saloon and a large opening space forward that connects to the pilothouse.

Pilothouse: As you leave the galley you go up a couple of steps to the pilothouse on the starboard side. Navigators are famous for their pilothouse, with tremendous visibility. On the port side you have a large U-shaped settee and a folding table. At the helm you have a comfortable Flexsteel helm chair. All of the electronics and engine controls are easily accessible and visible right in front of you. On the starboard side you have a sliding door to the side deck and forward to the foredeck. A companionway set of steps leads up to the flybridge and a stairway on the starboard side leads down to the staterooms.

Foredeck: The foredeck is surrounded by stainless steel rails for on-deck safety. Forward, a vertical Muir electric windlass is mounted with the Fortress anchor and assorted ground tackle available and at the ready. The decking is non-skid. Three hatch openings provide good ventilation to the cabin below.

VIP Cabin: Going down the stairs from the pilothouse on the starboard side you reach the lower level and then forward to the VIP cabin. Serenade has a much more spacious feeling to her, thanks to her 2-cabin configuration as compared to other Navigators with the more common 3-cabin layout. The head is aft. It includes a freshwater Vacuflush toilet and a stand-up shower. A large island berth is forward on center with plenty of storage lockers on both sides and drawers below.

Master Stateroom: Going aft from the VIP cabin, you enter the spacious Master Stateroom with its large island berth positioned athwartship and easily accessible on both sides. Full sized clothes washer and dryer are built in the aft side of the cabin. The head in this stateroom is very large, it includes a tub/standup shower combo and a Vacuflush freshwater toilet. A large counter with a built- in sink and a mirrored ceiling, gives a great feeling of spaciousness. The port side of the stateroom has a large cabinet with built in lockers and a flat screen TV.  Like most of the interior the soles are carpeted.

Flybridge and Boat Deck: On a nice sunny California day, the flybridge is the place to be on this yacht. The visibility is unsurpassed and there is plenty of space to entertain your guests. The upper helm has all of the controls that you expect and the Flexsteel helm chair is a pleasure to sit in. The starboard side has a spacious sitting area and aft on the port side you have a large settee and table. The aft starboard side has a wet bar, built in refrigerator and an electric grill. The boat deck aft has the AB RIB and the Bower Systems crane.

Engine Room: The engine room is under the saloon and it is entered via a large hatch door in the galley floor or from the lazarette. The engine room is very well organized, with all of the machinery easily accessible, considering that this is not a stand-up engine room. The Volvo engines are serviceable from both sides. Racor fuel filters for the engines and the generator are positioned for easy access.
