Originally named Chopin, she was the second Nordhavn ordered new by an active cruising family, and she was ordered with many unique, practical layout improvements. Two of the most notable examples to see in her presentation are the long settee to port in the saloon, and the divided forward stateroom with two beds to port and a single berth/convertible desk office to starboard.
Underway she is propelled by a John Deere 6090AFM75 325HP main engine, keel cooled with dry stack exhaust. For back up propulsion, a John Deere 4045DFM75 80HP wing engine with a V-drive transmission and independent fuel tank, starting battery, shaft and propeller. Her ABT active fin stabilizers provide a smooth, seakindly ride offshore with minimized rolling and she has Sidepower electric bow and stern thrusters to simplify docking maneuvers.
